MC93CV401 		VOICE IC with SPEEX and ADPCM codecs
Description
MC93CV402 is a Voice IC what has 14 bit digital amp inside. MC93CV402 support following two decoders.

- Narrow Band SPEEX
- 16-bit ADPCM

As a CELP(Code Excited Linear Prediction) based vocoder, SPEEX supports variety bit rates. The Narrow Band in MC93CV402 supports not only basic 8 KHzbut also 12 KHz sampling frequency. And it also supports 16-bit ADPCM . So it is useful to play music or effect sounds. Besides, it can play both SPEEX and ADPCM at the same time. So, for example, it can play voice by SPEEX and background music by ADPCM . For the more, it is also possible to synthesize SPEEX and ADPCM sounds in different bit rates.

Because MC93CV402 use a external rom for sound data, the rom size is properly selectable. For the rom, serial FLASH rom with standard SPI is used.

All development resouces like manual, example code, schemes and tools are packaged into 'Starter Kit'(See bellow download link). And there is a USB type hardware tool for it what can write sound data into Serial FLASH and play it. Please contact us for more information about it.
